Year 6 End of Year Events
As the end of Year 6 approaches, there are a number of events coming up for the children and we wanted to ensure parents/carers are aware of all the dates involved. Please note these are detailed below.
Due to the Local Authority moderating the school this term, we are unfortunately behind in our intended schedule for the School Production. Rehearsals will be in full swing as of next week. Along with production performances, rehearsals, technical rehearsals and set/costume design, the children are going to have an exceptionally busy few weeks. We will also be having Pupil Progress meetings, School Parliament Events, SRE sessions, High School Transition Days, Sports Day, Additional Year 6 swimming sessions, 100% attendance awards, leavers events such as the Leavers Assembly, BBQ and Disco as well as many other events.
Due to such a busy schedule and financial constraints, we regrettably will not be running a trip to Pleasurewood Hills this year. As a year team we will endeavour to use any free afternoon sessions we have, to plan in less structured and fun activities.
