Today we have been thinking about using finger spaces. The children were very excited because instead of using their finger for a space they used a cheerio as a visual representation. The children were asked to write sentences about Little Red Riding Hood and if they wrote their sentence correctly, with finger spaces in the right places, they got to eat the cheerios!
Now I've seen they can all use finger spaces correctly, they need to remember them every time we write!
In our English lessons this week we have been exploring the story ‘Little Red Riding Hood’. We have used our exciting pantomime visit to help us to create a story map to retell the story and to write interesting character descriptions using adjectives.
