For World Book Day, lots of us dressed up as our favourite characters from different books. The children put a lot of effort into some amazing costumes - well done!
In the morning, we wrote stories. We all started writing suspense and scary stories after being inspired by Charlie Higson, who had some excellent tips to build suspense in writing. After play, lots of us wanted to keep going! The rest were inspired by Jeremy Strong to write funny stories instead.
After lunch, we had a think about how we could edit and improve our stories, just like real authors. We then shared our favourite books, and started to grow some leaves on our reading tree. Hopefully by the summer term it will be full of all the books we have read!
