2nd November 2020
Dear Parent/Carer,
We do hope this letter finds you well. We are sure that you have seen in the news that cases of coronavirus are increasing in the Whitehouse area and there is set to be a National lockdown from Thursday 5th November.
As a school we are committed to ensuring that the school remains a safe place for your children to learn, however with current staff shortages this may prove difficult in the weeks ahead. Following the half-term break, the number of cases within the school has risen to 19 (this covers the last three weeks). We are currently continuing to review our risk assessments so that we can keep the school open but please be prepared that we may have to shut part or all of the school to comply with the risk assessment and our business continuity plan. In order to safely keep the school open, we really need everyone to work together. Please can we ask parents to work with us to follow these key arrangements:
HIGH TEMPERATURE
CONTINUOUS COUGH
LOSS OF TASTE OR SMELL
Thank you for continuing to work with us for the safety of everyone in our school community.
Mrs A Hall Mr M Parker
Headteacher Chair of Governors
If you believe you have symptoms or a family member has symptoms of Coronavirus then you must all remain at home and get a test as soon as possible. Please notify school immediately of the outcome.
