09-11-2020 EYFS Closure on 10-11-2020

9th November 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you for your support and understanding as we put in place measures to try to keep all members of our school community as safe as possible in these most challenging of times.

As I mentioned in my last letter to you, whilst we care passionately about the education of every child in our school, the health and safety of the children, staff and all members of our school community is paramount and must be at the forefront of every decision made.

It is therefore with much regret that I write to inform you that due to staffing ratios not being at the acceptable level, we have made the difficult decision to close the following classes tomorrow (Tuesday 10th November).

Dolphins (Nursery), Starfish and Puffins

Whilst we recognise and appreciate the challenges this decision may have for families, we ask that you please understand the ever-changing picture with regard to coronavirus that we are faced with daily and please be assured that the decision to close classes is never taken lightly. This is a temporary measure and I will do all that I can to safely re-open the classes.

Please note, home learning opportunities will be available on Tapestry to support your child in continuing their learning journey whilst their class is closed and on our school website: https://www.whcps.org/eyfs-4/

Thank you for your continued support,

Yours sincerely,

Mrs A Hall
