11-06-2020 Reopening of Nursery

11th June 2020

Reopening of Nursery

Dear Parents,

As discussed, we will be partially opening the Nursery from Monday 15th June to children whose parents requested a place for them. This will be reduced hours and days to ensure that we can follow all government guidance. The children will be split into two groups – Group A (Monday and Tuesday) and Group B (Thursday and Friday). The times of the Nursery offer will be from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm. Please bring your child to the Nursery garden, ensuring that you follow the 2 metre social distancing rules when dropping off and collecting.

Here are some further safety measures that have been put into place across the whole school.

  • Only one parent may bring their child to school and must leave the site as soon as their child is safely in class
  • No parent is to enter the school building, including the school office without prior arrangement with the Headteacher
  • When collecting and dropping off at school, please stay 2 metres from the class doors/teachers
  • When moving around the school site, please walk on the left
  • It is crucial that any adult or child displaying coronavirus symptoms does not attend the school site in any capacity
  • All children must bring in their own drinks bottle that is clearly labelled
  • If your child is unwell or they cannot attend school on a particular day allocated, please notify the school (normal absence arrangements apply).

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me at school or through Tapestry.
