13-03-2020 Coronavirus Update for Parents

Dear Parents and Carers,

 

The school is constantly monitoring the situation regarding coronavirus and the latest government advice was released yesterday, on the 12th March, as follows:

Key Updated Advice:

  • If a pupil has a new continuous cough OR high temperature (37.8 degrees or higher) they should self-isolate at home for 7 days.
  • If their conditions begin to deteriorate beyond this then they should contact NHS 111.
  • ‚ÄčThere are no current plans to close schools.

Please ensure that your child’s contact details are up to date, for example, if you have changed your mobile number recently, please let the office know.

 

The Importance of Hygiene

Personal hygiene is the most important way we can tackle COVID-19, especially washing hands more; and the catch it, bin it, kill it strategy. Please ensure your children wash their hands more often for 20 seconds with soap and hot water. Watch this short NHS film for guidance:
