Early Years and the National Trust
16th March 2018
As part of our wonderful Careers Day many children from our Early Years were able to visit the workshop run by the National Trust, Sutton Hoo. We became history detectives! By looking at artefacts for clues we had to work out who the skeleton might have been. We discovered it was Raedwald, the 7th King of East Anglia. We took part in an archaeological dig, searching for artefacts and we referred to at a key to find out more about them. We also tried on clothes form the past, including women's outfits and a warrior's helmet!
