Children in Need
Today is Children in Need day!
With the help from Pudsey Bear, this day helps to raise money for children who need it. Some children might have a disability or some children may be very poorly.
I have attached a range of activties for you to choose from to complete at home.
We should be having a non-uniform day in school, so dress up, put on your favourite fancy dress costume and help to celebrate Children in Need.
Can't wait to see photos!
We have been practicing being storytellers and telling the story of The Three Little Pigs all week.
Today I want to see your fantastic storytelling!
Ask your grown up to record a video of you telling the story of The Three Little Pigs. Remember the actions we have learnt, the voices for the wolves and pigs and huff and puff those houses down!
I look forward to seeing them when you upload to Tapestry!
Thank you all for working so hard at home this week!
This week we have been practicing our numbers up to 20.
Join in with this counting song - can you remember all the numbers up to 20?
To practice your numbers, I would like you to play the game 'Jack in the Box' on Education City. Listen to the numbers and click the correct jack in the box.
A huge well done to everyone for practicing our new sound this week - we have leant h, b, f and l.
Today I have an initial sounds matching game for you.
Click the pictures in the bottom row, work out what they start with and then find the correct letter in the top row.
Today's handwriting task is to practice your drawing skills on Get Squiggling.
Pick up your pen and paper and draw along with Sqigglet! He is teaching you how to draw the three little pigs.
We have made it to Friday! A whole week of home learning, so lets get rid of some energy and do some PE!
Warm up - Have a go at the Animal Freeze Dance. Can you join in with the movements, remember to freeze though! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqz4z9aQRJY
Activity - Sticky Kids, Lets go walking https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cj-ouBZXd00 Can you join in with the movements to the song? When it gets to the 'far, far away' part you could place your hand over your eyes to make it look like you are searching for something in the distance.
