Welcome to Whitehouse Nursery
We aim to always create a stimulating, nurturing environment which enables children to thrive through exciting experiences and the opportunity to explore their own individual interests. We understand that these very first steps at Whitehouse are fundamental to the children achieving the things they believe in. With this in mind, at the core of everything we do is the belief that every child is special and unique. We seek to ensure every child feels and understands this too.
The Nursery is staffed by a fully qualified teacher and two teaching assistants. Our full time teaching assistant holds a level three childcare qualification. Our setting is housed on the school site in two classrooms fully adapted to the needs of nursery children and an outside area solely for our use. We also make full use of the facilities within the whole school at Whitehouse. Each week, we enjoy assembly and P.E sessions in the hall, as well as spending time with the school librarian in the KS1 library. We often embark upon adventures, such as welly walks, around the school grounds too! This constant contact with the main school makes starting 'big' school in the September an exciting next step, for which the children are fully prepared and ready to embrace.
Whitehouse Nursery welcomes children from the age of 3 and offers morning, afternoon and full day sessions. We welcome families claiming 30 hours free childcare and those wishing to pay for extra sessions above the 15 hours universal childcare entitlement.
The times of our sessions are as follows:
Morning Session: 8.30am to 11.30am
Lunch Club: 11.30am to 12.15pm
Afternoon Session: 12.15pm to 3.15pm
All day: 8.30am to 3.15pm
