Outdoor Learning Challenge.
We have been taking part in teamwork challenges using our outdoor space. This week the children were given the following task:
You must work as a team to get from one side of the river to the other and rescue the teddy.
You must start on the coned side of the river.
You must pick a hoop up and have to hold on to it the whole time.
The team must stay connected at all times.
You can use the magic stepping-stones to get across but cannot touch the water and must have body contact on the stepping-stones at all times.
If you touch the water or lose contact, you must all start again.
When you all get to the other side, you must rescue the teddy from the swamp.
You cannot step into the swamp but can come up with ideas and use the resources to rescue the teddy.
Remember: TEAM WORK, COURAGE, PERSEVERANCE, LISTENING AND TALKING TO EACH OTHER
