As a Right Respecting School, we, at Whitehouse, are aware of the benefits of after-school clubs in terms of children's physical, mental, social and emotional development. We are thus keen to provide before and after-school activities which not only improve self-confidence and nurture talents but which also equip children for adult life in the modern life.
So far this year, a range of spaces have been offered every morning on the Active and Quiet Breakfast Club as well as on the Thrive and Read and Feed ones.
In addition, a total of 27 different after-school activities were offered in the Autumn and Spring term FREE OF CHARGE by 28 different members of staff.

The clubs were carefully planned to support the 5 strands which the NHS and other health organisation identify as being key to good mental health and wellbeing as illustrated below.
