Death of HM Queen Elizabeth II
Dear Parents / Carers,
Our thoughts are with the Royal Family as we all mourn the death of The Queen. During the period of national mourning we will discuss her extraordinary life with the children and reflect on her servitude to the country.
Please note Whitehouse CP School will be closed on Monday 19th September for the Queen’s funeral (declared a Bank Holiday by King Charles III).
As a result of this closure, school photographs will not take place on the 19th September as planned. We are currently rearranging the date and will inform you as soon as we have a new date. Please note the parent/carer meetings after school for Y5 and Y6 will be moved to Thursday 22nd September.
