The Online Safety Ambassadors

Whitehouse Online Safety Ambassadors is made up of six Year 5 pupils who are recruited each year in the Summer Term.

The aim of this pupil-representive body is to work with the whole school community (staff, parents, Governors and pupils) to ensure that Whitehouse children stay safe online by following some basic online safety rules.

The Whitehouse Online Safety Ambassadors is led by Mrs Cox who is the School Designated Online Safety Lead.

The work of the OSA team encompasses:

- preparing and delivering surveys about computer usage and online safety

- playing an active role in the delivery of assemblies and activities linked with Online Safey Week

- running competitions

- informing parents and pupils about various aspects of online safety through online safety posters shared in the Weekly Bulletins.
