Year 5: Reading Open Session
Dear Parents /Carers,
We are pleased to be able to invite parents/carers of our Year 5 children to come into school for a reading lesson linked to our enquiry curriculum on:
Tuesday 6th February 2024
9.00am to 9.45am
The children have worked hard this year to improve their speed and accuracy when completing reading comprehension tasks. During the lesson the children will share with you the skills they have been learning, read a new text extract and practice their comprehension skills.
The sessions will take place in the Year 5 classrooms and we would ask parents/carers to enter school through the Waterford Road Car Park, where you will be asked to sign in.
We look forward to having as many of you as possible join us and would ask you to return the reply slip below to ensure we provide enough resources.
Please note that for safeguarding reasons you will not be allowed to use your mobile phone whilst you are on the school site.
