Year 1: DT workshop
Dear Parents/Carers,
We are excited to invite parents/carers of our Year 1 children to come into school for an afternoon linked to our DT curriculum. The enquiry question posed for this half term is ‘Why do we love the seaside?’. During the session, the children will make their own Punch and Judy inspired puppets using basic sewing skills. The children will be designing their puppets in our DT lessons leading up to this session. You are invited to join the session on:

9:00 – 10:00 am
The sessions will take place in the Year 1 classrooms and we would ask parents/carers to enter and exit school through the Marlow Road main entrance, where you will be asked to sign in / out.
Due to the size of our classrooms and the health and safety risk of using sewing needles, we kindly ask that no younger siblings attend and only one adult per child.
Please note that for safeguarding reasons you will not be allowed to use your mobile phone whilst you are on the school site.
