Year 3
Iron Age Carts:
Year 3 have been designing and making their own Iron Age carts. Their cart had to include a moving mechanism. They had great fun learning new skills and tools to create their carts. We were very impressed with the team work and resilience of the children when creating their carts.
Roman 'Bulla' Purse:
Year 3 have been using their sewing skills to make Roman 'Bulla' purses. They used a running stitch to create the purse. Thank you to all the parents and carers who came to help support the children with this.
European Recipes:
Year 3 had a lovely time exploring different foods from Europe. They even followed some simple recipes to make their own versions of different traditional European Dishes. The children used a range of different knife skills to create their recipes. When evaluating their finished product the children expressed mixed opinions about how their creations tasted but most were pleased!
