Parental Engagement Invitation – Year 5
Dear Parents/Carers,
The current DT unit for Year 5 is: Fairtrade eating – flapjacks.
As part of their DT lessons, the children will be tasting, designing and creating their own flapjacks.
We would like to invite you to take part in the tasting session alongside your child. At the session, we will provide you with four different flapjacks to taste. This lesson will take place on Thursday 13th March from 2:15 – 3pm. We will share the flapjack ingredients during the lesson in case of allergies.
To make sure that we have enough resources prepared for this tasting, please complete and return the attached reply slip by Wednesday 5th March.
Please note that for safeguarding reasons you will not be allowed to use your mobile phone whilst you are on the school site.
