Whitehouse Weekly Bulletin 195
Friday 10th June 2022
Message from Mrs Hall
It has been great to welcome the children back to school this week for the final half-term. There are lots of great learning opportunities to enhance our curriculum, therefore please check the calendar carefully so that your child doesn’t miss out. We are currently in the process of organising classes for next year and we hope to let you know all arrangements before the transition mornings on the 13th and 14th July. We are delighted to report that we are fully staffed for September. If you have any questions or worries about next year, please don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you for your continued support.
Attendance for the week before Half Term
Class with the best attendance: Seahorses (99.2%)
Sorry
Unfortunately, when we returned to school on Monday the internet was not working which caused some problems across the school for children, parents/carers and staff. The issue has been resolved and we working hard to ensure the children are able to catch-up on their AR quizzing. Thank you for your understanding.
Assemblies
The theme of our assemblies for next week will be: What do House Captains do? How do you become a House Captain? UNRC Link: Article 15: I have the right to be with friends and join or set up clubs unless this breaks the rights of others. Resources related to this assembly will soon be available on our website. To access them, simply go to Learning and click on our Enquiry Based Assemblies.

Bake Sale
Dear Parents and Carers,
Now the bake sale is over, we are pleased to inform you about the results of the money that was raised between the Houses. We have decided to add it all up and split it evenly between the House charities. Although we are splitting it, the members of the House that raised the most money are having a non-uniform today, Friday 10th June. We would like to thank you all for bringing in sweet treats for us to sell and for every penny raised for our House charities.
In 4th place with £34.20 was Ruby. In 3rd place with £35.22 was Sapphire. In 2nd place with £58.14 was Emerald. And finally, in 1st place with £62.06 was Diamond. The total amount raised was £189.62. We would to thank the whole school for participating in this event.
