Figures from last year

A total of 21 clubs were offered to pupils in the Academic Year 2017-2018

79% of all children from Reception to Year 6 attended at least one club during the 2017-2018 Academic Year.  This figure does not take into account pupils who went to the Breakfast Club, the Y6 Booster Sessions or took part in lunchtime clubs such as Chess, Art, Reading or the Thrive Friendship Club.

What children said about the clubs - Extract from Governors’ report – 9th March 2018

“It was pleasing to talk to children who spoke enthusiastically about their learning opportunities and the range of afterschool clubs currently offered.

Children could list at least 2 or 3 clubs which have been offered.  The majority had attended more than one club.   These were very popular and the reasons for attending ranged from making new friends to being active, to having more time to develop their skills”.
