Year 2:  Parent/Carer Session

Dear Parent/Carer,

We are delighted to invite Year 2 parents/carers into school for our next sharing session on

Thursday 26^th January 2026

2.10pm

In Year 2 we have been learning how to work scientifically and conducting lots of scientific experiments. We are thrilled to invite you along to our next scientific experiment where we will be investigating what is the strongest way to make a paper bridge. During the session you will have the opportunity to work alongside your child; you will be able to create and test out different bridge designs. 

We hope this afternoon will be an enjoyable and engaging experience for both parents/carers and pupils. While also being a wonderful opportunity to see science learning in action.

Please come to the Marlow Road entrance at 2.10pm where we will sign you in and take you to your child’s class.  We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

Please note that for safeguarding reasons you will not be allowed to use your mobile phone whilst you are on the school site.
