Year 2 into Year 3 Readiness Parental Session

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we approach the end of another successful school year, we would like to invite you to a parental information session - Year 2 into Year 3 Readiness on Tuesday 7th July at 9am OR 2.45pm.

This session has been designed to support you and your child with the transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2. We will share information about the expectations of Year 3, key changes your child will experience, and practical ways you can support their learning and independence at home over the summer period.

During the session, members of the Year 2 team will discuss:

• The transition from Year 2 to Year 3
• Expectations for learning and behaviour in Key Stage 2
• Reading, writing and maths readiness
• Developing independence and organisation skills
• Ways to support your child at home during the summer break
• Opportunities to ask questions and share any concerns

The sessions will take place in the Marlow Road Hall and we would ask parents/carers to enter and exit school through the Marlow Road main entrance, where you will be asked to sign in / out.
