Whitehouse Weekly Bulletin 362
Friday 2nd October 2026
A Message from Miss Siddall:
This week, I've been visiting classes to see some of the fabulous homework projects being brought into school. Thank you for your support with this - the homework projects really do help the children to engage with their learning and to develop both skills and knowledge. We look forward to welcoming parents and carers into classrooms at the end of the day soon so that you can see the fantastic project school work and homework for yourselves. As you know, the homework menus also suggest a wide range of 'family day out' activities. If you have been able to take part in any of these, please do let us know and send us a picture as we'd love to make a feature of this in the newsletter.
Attendance: Top 3 classes with the best attendance for week ending 25th September 2026

Whole School Attendance: 96% - Fantastic – Well done everyone!
⚽ Ipswich Town Foundation 100% Attendance Ticket Draw! ⚽
We are very lucky to have members of the Ipswich Town Foundation visiting and working closely with our school to run lunch and after-school clubs, as well as supporting some of our PE sessions. We are so grateful for all the opportunities they provide for our children!
We are very excited to share that the Foundation has kindly donated home game tickets for 1 x adult and 1 x child for ITFC fixtures right up until December! The first game that we have tickets for is Saturday 10th October, Ipswich vs Fulham.
Every child who has 100% attendance the week prior to the fixtures will be entered into a draw. We will notify winners the week of the home fixture. If you had 100% attendance this week you will be eligible for the first draw. We will be contacting the winner on Monday 5th October. Good luck to everyone! 💙⚽
Thank you, as always, for your continued support in helping your children attend school every day and make the most of the exciting opportunities we have on offer.

Rotary Club Donations
We would like to say a huge thank you to the Rotary Club who have once again gifted each child in Year 6 with an illustrated dictionary. The books and their beautiful illustrations will be great support to children in their learning this year and a wonderful momento from their final year of primary school when they take them home next summer. We very much appreciate this wonderful donation we receive each year.
