05-10-2021 Covid Update

5th October 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

I hope this letter finds you well. As I am sure you are aware Covid-19 is still with us and the school is working hard to ensure that we can provide the very best education for the children. At the moment we have had less than five reported Covid-19 cases within school. However, we are seeing a rise in cases locally. In order to keep everyone as safe as possible and following government guidance, please can we ask that you do not send the children to school if they have any of the following symptoms:

  • High Temperature
  • Persistent Cough
  • Loss of Taste/Smell

If your child has one of these symptoms please inform the school office, ensure that they have a PCR test as soon as possible and notify the school of the outcome. NHS Track and Trace are responsible for tracking Covid-19 cases, however, if the school office encourages you to test your child this will be because they have been made aware of a case within the class or your child has displayed symptoms. It is important that we all do our very best to keep the school open in order to provide the children with the very best educational opportunities.

Thank you for your continued support,

With best regards

Andrea Hall
