Year 2 - Framlingham Castle Visit

Dear Parents/Carers

We are writing to inform you about an exciting trip we have organised for our Year 2 children in connection with their curriculum study of Castles.  The trip to Framlingham Castle will take place on Friday 4th November 2022.  It will be a wonderful chance for the children to explore the castle and identify all the things they have been learning about, to have a walk around the castle wall and take part in some archery activities.

We will leave school at 9.15am and return by the end of the school day.  Your child will require a packed lunch, drink (NO GLASS BOTTLES OR FIZZY DRINKS PLEASE) and a snack.  

If your child is entitled to Free School Meals please indicate on the attached form if you would like us to provide a school packed lunch.

The cost per child is a voluntary contribution of £7.50 which will cover travel and activity costs.  

The trip has been placed on Arbor, so you can give consent to the trip, order a packed lunch and pay the £7.50 cost via the Parents App.  If you do not yet have access please speak to a member of the office team.  Alternatively, please return the enclosed form to the school along with payment in a named envelope.
