School Dinners – Price Increase
Dear Parent/Carer,
We regret to inform you that due to rising food costs, our school dinner provider will be increasing the cost of school meals by 5p each day. From Monday 31st October, the cost of a daily meal will change from £2.30 a day to £2.35. This will be an overall increase of £9.50 a year for pupils that pay for a daily meal.
We appreciate it is a challenging time financially in many ways and we have worked hard with our meals provider to delay this rise for as long as is possible.
Please note this does not affect meals in Key stage 1 (Reception, Year 1 and 2) who will continue to receive a free meal, provided by the government.
