We will be leaving school at 1:30pm, allowing us time to travel to the venue and adequate changing time for a prompt start to the swimming lesson at 2pm. We aim to return to at around 3:15pm.
If your child has permission to walk home on their own, they will be sent home as soon as the coach arrives back at school providing they have given written permission to do so (please complete attached slip). If your child is normally collected from school, please arrange to collect your child from the Jaguars classroom at the slightly later time of 3:15pm.
Your child will need – either a one-piece swimming costume for girls or swimming trunks or tight swimming shorts for boys (NOT LOOSE SHORTS), a towel and swimming hat (essential). Please remember that aerosol deodorants and talcum powder are not permitted in the Fore Street changing rooms. Please also ensure that your child is not wearing any jewellery that day. Swimming hats are available to purchase from the school office at £1.10 each. If your child is well enough for school, but not well enough to swim, a letter from you explaining this is required.
We would appreciate you ensuring that your child is fully equipped every week as this makes for a time-efficient and productive afternoon for everyone involved!
Thank you.
Mr L Jordan (PE Specialist / Teacher)
