After School Clubs

Dear Parent/Carer,

We are extremely proud of our extra-curricular provision at Whitehouse and see it as one of the school’s strengths. Despite recent COVID-19 restrictions and the different approach to the after-school clubs, we have been very pleased with the continued success of our extra-curricular clubs throughout this academic year. As a result, we are delighted to announce that we will continue to offer after school clubs during this final half term. 

With the current circumstances, and the most recent review of our schools COVID-19 risk assessment, we will now be offering clubs to year group bubbles. To ensure that clubs are run in a COVID-safe way, each year group will be offered a club delivered by a member a staff that works within the year group bubble. Mr Jordan will also be offering outdoor sports clubs to a number of year group bubbles. We will again be running the clubs for 4 weeks. The clubs will start on Monday 21^st June and each one will finish at 4.15pm. The number of spaces for each club is also indicated in the table below:

If your child would like to attend one of their year groups after-school club, please complete the below reply slip and return this to your child’s teacher by Thursday 17^th June 2021.  Please note that if your child signs up to attend the club, they will be expected to attend every week unless they are off due to sickness. Any child who is not given a place initially will be added to a reserve list and informed if a place becomes available.
