Year 3 Visit: Ipswich Museum
Dear Parents/Carers.
We are writing to inform you about an exciting trip we have organised for our Year 3 children in connection with their curriculum study of the Stone Age. The trip to the Ipswich Museum will give the children the opportunity to explore how people’s lives changed from hunter gatherers to settled farmers. They will be taking part in role plays and handling various artefacts. Hopefully, they will also be meeting the woolly mammoth!
The trips will take place as follows:
21st September 2021 – Badgers and Rabbits Classes
22nd September 2021 – Foxes and Owls Classes
We will leave school at 9.30am and return by the end of the school day. Your child will require a packed lunch, drink (NO GLASS BOTTLES OR FIZZY DRINKS PLEASE), and a snack.
If your child is entitled to Free School Meals please indicate on the attached form if you would like us to provide a school packed lunch.
The cost per child is a voluntary contribution of £5.00, which covers coach travel and all activities. Please return the attached consent form along with this amount by Friday 17th September 2021.
Thank you for your continued support.
With Regards
Year 3 Teachers
