School Dinners – Price Increase of 18p
Dear Parent/Carer,
I regret to inform you that due to continued rising food costs, our school dinner provider has yet again increased the cost of school meals, this time by 18p each day. The daily charge will move from being £2.35p to £2.53p on the 17th April 2023. This is an overall increase of £34.20 a year for pupils that pay for a daily meal.
We appreciate it is a challenging time financially in many ways and wanted to give you as much prior warning as is possible.
This does not affect meals in Key stage 1 (Reception, Year 1 and 2) which are all provided for free by the government. If you would like to explore whether you are eligible for Free School Meals, please contact the school office.
